- Independent analysis of an academic topic in both oral and written form
- Knowledge of the linguistic and formal requirements for a short academic paper and presentations
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in applying techniques for structuring specialist and academic presentations, as well as techniques for drafting academic texts
- Researching academic literature
- Correct citation and avoidance of plagiarism
